[Tradjazz] Trad Jazz on the Radio Al Collins

Al Collins was also connected with KSFO in San Francisco for many years. He  
was the epitome of the "cool cat" and spread his "mejuberizing" to all who  
listened. KSFO also featured the local broadcaster Don Sherwood, probably  
unknown to East Coasters. Don was the early morning king in the Bay Area for  many 
years and made waking up a thing to look forward to.
 
Jon Hammond B3 expert (accordion as well) has mentioned how Al Collins  
mentored him and gave him air time to further Jon's career as a jazzman.
 
If I ever get Alzheimer's, I bet that I will never forget Al Collins and  his 
exuberance for Hoss Flat and April in Paris.
 
I bet he and the Count are mejuberizing and clicking fingers together  in 
Purple Grotto right now.
