I'm absolutely amazed to read that the virtuoso of all sax virtuosos, Al Gallodoro, is still playing ....and he's in his mid-90s. His internet site lists his live concerts through to September 2007 ! 
I've been an Al Gallodoro fan ever since my friend, the late Neville Thomas, knocked me out and inspired me with some Gallodoro tapes. I've just discovered Al's official web-site (www.algallodoro.com) If you haven't visited it already, don't miss it : beautiful on-line recordings play while you read the various chapters of the site. His technique on alto sax , Bb clarinet and bass clarinet was ( and might still be) absolutely unbelievable.
What an inspiration to us all, like my other inspiration Speigle Willcox : 90-something and still performing live !
              At 72 I thought I was getting on !
