Hi GJB Fans,

SUNDAYS at Marisa's in Trumbull….THIS SUNDAY!

We look forward to seeing you all again at Marisa's on this Sunday, April 
22nd, 6-8:30PM, with guest trombonist Tom Artin, known for his many hot Jazz 
sessions at Eddie Condons in New York!  Don't miss this exciting trombonist with 
the GJB!   Be sure to make your reservations early, like yesterday! We've been 
having a ball at Marisas, but we'll only be there again on June 10th, then 
we'll be off until September!

Remember, there is no cover or minimum at Marisa's, but because the food is 
fabulous, you're going to want to order dinner.   Marisa's is very easy to get 
to: take the Merritt Parkway toward Trumbull, get off at Exit 48, head north 
for about 3 miles, and it's on your right.  This is a good size restaurant, 
with plenty of seating and parking.   From Guilford, it took me only 35 minutes 
to get there.   Marisa's address is 6540 Main Street, Trumbull, CT 06611.   The 
telephone number is 203-459-4225.   Call now, before it sells out again!    
Our last Sunday at Marisa's, until September, is Sunday, June 10th with 
trombonist Craig Grant, and vocalist Jane Campedelli.    Mark your calendar!

Jazz Lunch at Bill's Seafood!  What a great mid week interlude!

The Heartbeat Jazz Quintet with Bill Sinclair, Sherman Kahn, Donn Doucette, 
Bill Logozzo, and Fred Vigorito are at Bill's Seafood, Boston Post Road, 
Westbrook every Wednesday from 11:45AM to 1:45. The food is great at Bill's, and 
very reasonably priced.   The music is hot, and cool, and soft, and loud, and 
always exciting!   If you have a large group, call Bill's at 860-399-7224. Also 
at Bill's, on Sundays, 4-8, it's Scott Kahn, Ray Churchill, and Charlie 
Salerno.

GJB in Concert in Pennsylvania! We had a ball, in spite of the weather!
Yes, we were there on Sunday, April 15th, 2-5PM with special guests Craig 
Grant on trombone, and Jimmy Mazzy on banjo, at the Moose Lodge in Easton, PA for 
the Pennsylvania Jazz Society.   It was a great crowd, and we were hot hot 
hot!   Thanks Bill, Rena, Jean, Nancy, and all the other fans that showed up in 
spite of the crazy weather!

Bill Logozo's Heartbeat Jazz Band will be at Olivers in Essex on Thursday, 
May 3rd, 7-10PM, with Skip Hughes!   This is a great spot, nice atmosphere, and 
good food at a reasonable price.    Of course the music is hot hot hot!   
Dancing too!   Look for them at Olivers the first Thursday of each month. Contact
