[Tradjazz] Gretsch clarinets

Dear List members, 
              Part of my problem regarding Gretsch clarinets is solved : I find that they were actually made by the Conn Co.
              Thanks to list members, I was referred to a number of useful sights, including the "SAXGOURMET" web-site, which identifies a large number of "stencil" (re-badged) instruments made by one company for marketing by another . Its a remarkable, very extensive web-site and I can recommend it to those interested in this "re-badging" (stencil) question, or a variety of other saxophone related topics.
            But I still haven't tracked down a serial number list, from which I could date my instrument. Any further help on this aspect will be most appreciated.
