Roy,
Thank you for jumping into the breach and getting the ball rolling in
your area. Like so many human endeavors, the more you put into RADIO
OKOM, the more you'll get out.
I hope many others will follow your lead and begin posting all kinds of
messages and announcements of specific interest out west.
RADIO OKOM and OKOM LLC literally cover the world. Your messages may
reach people who are going to travel to your area and who will check the
postings on OKOM to learn where they may find jazz while they're in
town.
All musos, send us your CDs... We'll play them and plug them on RADIO
OKOM, free of charge!
Thanks again,
Bill

Subject: [Tradjazz] Jazz Activities
I recently read Tom Greening's email and like wise I have only seen
activities that go on in the east coast, but I surmised that was because
no one took the time out here to cover any west coast activities. I live
in Escondido and belong to "America's Finest City Dixieland Jazz
Society", and they print in their Jazz Rambler two pages of most of the
places in San Diego, LA area and many other places out west that play
OKOM. There are three great jazz festivals coming up in the area. One
in Costa Mesa from Aug 2nd to 5th, one in LA over the Labor Day weekend
and one in San Diego over the Thanksgiving weekend...all worth going to.
Even if no one prints any news about our area, I certainly enjoy the
music you play on RADIO OKOM.
Roy
