Hi GJB Fans,

SUNDAYS at Marisa's in Trumbull!
We look forward to seeing you all again at Marisa's this Sunday, June
10th
with trombonist Craig Grant, and vocalist Jane Campedelli. This will be our
last Sunday at Marisa's until after the summer, so don't miss this very
special
performance. Be sure to make your reservations early, like yesterday!
Remember, there is no cover or minimum at Marisa's, but because the food is
fabulous, you're going to want to order dinner. Marisa's is very easy to
get to:
take the Merritt Parkway toward Trumbull, get off at Exit 48, head north for

about 3 miles, and it's on your right. This is a good size restaurant,
with
plenty of seating and parking. From Guilford, it took me only 35 minutes
to
get there. Marisa's address is 6540 Main Street, Trumbull, CT 06611. The

telephone number is 203-459-4225. Call now, before it sells out again!

Jazz Lunch at Bill's Seafood!
The Heartbeat Jazz Quintet with Bill Sinclair, Sherman Kahn, Donn Doucette,
Bill Logozzo, Fred Vigorito, and vocalist Terry Thomas were at Bill's
Seafood,
Boston Post Road, Westbrook this past Wednesday from 11:45AM to 1:45 for the

last time until the fall. It was a great day, with some great tunes. Sherm

did his Begin the Beguine, Bill did his My Memphis Baby, Terry sang
Confessin'
and Baby Won't You Please Come Home. It was a full house, and we're
grateful
for your support, especially you regulars. I know I saw a tear or two as
we
all sang We'll Meet Again, but "don't let the parting upset you, we'll meet
again some sunny day" in September!

Sun July 1, 6-8:30, Beachhead Restaurant, 3 Cosey Beach Ave East Haven, CT.
That's right, East Haven, where I was born 64 years ago! The location and
views
are spectacular! Right on Long Island Sound! It's our first appearance
at
the Beachhead. In fact, it's our first club date ever in East Haven.
It's
dinner and dancing to the Galvanized Jazz Quintet. Call 203-469-5450 for
dinner reservations now. This is a great spot, with great food (I ate there

recently!), but limited seating, so make your dinner reservation now!!
This
could be the start of something BIG. Remember that other Sunday gig we had
in
Northford!

Bill Logozo's Heartbeat Jazz Band will be at Olivers in Essex on Thursday,
June 7th, 7-10PM, with Noel Kaletsky and Skip Hughes! This is a great
spot,
nice atmosphere, and good food at a reasonable price. Of course the music
is
hot hot hot! Dancing too! Look for them at Olivers the first Thursday of

each month. They'll also be at the West Hartford Senior Center on Tuesday,

June 5th, 7-8:30PM. Contact Bill Logozzo at Bill @nutmegchrome.com for
information on the band and how to order CDs.

Tex Wyndham, sponsored by Jean Hadley for the Pocono Arts Council

That's right, THE Tex Wyndham, the one and only, with his very entertaining
and very informative show, called: 'The World of Jazz, Ragtime and Tin Pan
Alley', will be at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Shawnee, PA, Sunday,
June
24th, 2-4PM, $10 per person. For details call 570-476-4460.
