Cosey Beach Ave East Haven, CT. That's right, East Haven, where I was born 64 
years ago! The location and views are spectacular!   Right on Long Island

the Beachhead.   In fact, it's our first club date ever in East Haven.   It's 
dinner and dancing to the Galvanized Jazz Quintet.  Call 203-469-5450 for 
dinner reservations now.  This is a great spot, with great food (I ate there 
recently!), but limited seating, so make your dinner reservation now!!   This could 
be the start of something BIG.   Remember that other Sunday gig we had in 
Northford!

CONGRATULATIONS TO JIM FRYER!

Yes, our own Jim Fryer landed a gig with the nationally syndicated show, 'A 
Prarie Home Companion.'   He'll fly out to Kansas next weekend, and you'll be 
able to hear him on the show on Saturday, June 23rd.     Way to go, Jim!
 
SUNDAYS at Marisa's in Trumbull! Over for now!
We'll see you again on Sunday, Sep 9th, 6-8:30, once again with Jane 
Campedelli andf trombonist Harvey Tibbs!   Be sure to make your reservations early, 
like yesterday!   Remember, there is no cover or minimum at Marisa's, but 
because the food is fabulous, you're going to want to order dinner.   Marisa's is 
very easy to get to: take the Merritt Parkway toward Trumbull, get off at Exit 
48, head north for about 3 miles, and it's on your right.   This is a good size 
restaurant, with plenty of seating and parking.   From Guilford, it took me 
only 35 minutes to get there.   Marisa's address is 6540 Main Street, Trumbull, 
CT 06611.   The telephone number is 203-459-4225.   Call now, before it sells 
out again! 


Bill Logozo's Heartbeat Jazz Band will be at Olivers in Essex on Thursday, 
July 5th, 7-10PM, with Skip Hughes!   Great crowd this past Thursday! This is a 
great spot, nice atmosphere, and good food at a reasonable price.    Of course 
the music is hot hot hot!   Dancing too!   Look for them at Olivers the first
