Hi GJB Fans,

Jazz Lunch at Bill's Seafood!   OUR LAST ONE UNTIL SEPTEMBER!  Welcome back 
Bill Sinclair!
The Heartbeat Jazz Quintet with Bill Sinclair, Sherman Kahn, Donn Doucette, 
Bill Logozzo, and Fred Vigorito are at Bill's Seafood, Boston Post Road, 
Westbrook this Wednesday from 11:45AM to 1:45.   Vocalist Terry Thomas will also be 
with us to sing a couple of tunes for you!   The food is great at Bill's, and 
very reasonably priced.   The music is hot, and cool, and soft, and loud, and 
always exciting!   If you have a large group, call Bill's at 860-399-7224. 
Also at Bill's, on Sundays, 4-8, it's Scott Kahn, Ray Churchill, and Charlie 
Salerno.

Sun July 1, 6-8:30, Beachhead Restaurant, 3 Cosey Beach Ave East Haven, CT. 
That's right, East Haven, where I was born 64 years ago! The location and views 
are spectacular!   Right on Long Island Sound!   It's our first appearance at 
the Beachhead.   In fact, it's our first club date ever in East Haven.   It's 
dinner and dancing to the Galvanized Jazz Quintet.  Call 203-469-5450 for 
dinner reservations now.  This is a great spot, with great food (I ate there 
recently!), but limited seating, so make your reservation now!!   This could be 
the start of something BIG.   Remember that other Sunday gig we had in 
Northford!

Sun, June 2nd

The GJB will perform at the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven, 1-3:30PM, 
for the showing of their restored New Orleans Street Car.   The band will 
include special guests Noel Kaletsky, Art Baron, and Bruce McNichols.   We may 
even do some marching!   If you've never been to this museum, you're in for a 
treat!   Go to bera.org for details and directions. 

Sun June 3rd, 9:30AM, a Jazz Service at First Cong Church of Southington with 
Scott Kahn, Sherman Kahn, and Tom Boates.
   
Sun June 3rd, 5-8PM, a fundraiser for Masonic Home residents only, in 
Wallingford, the Galvanized Jazz Quintet.   

Bill Logozo's Heartbeat Jazz Band will be at Olivers in Essex on Thursday, 
June 7th, 7-10PM, with Skip Hughes!   This is a great spot, nice atmosphere, and 
good food at a reasonable price.    Of course the music is hot hot hot!   
Dancing too!   Look for them at Olivers the first Thursday of each month. Contact

SUNDAYS at Marisa's in Trumbull!
We look forward to seeing you all again at Marisa's on  Sunday,   June 10th 
with trombonist Craig Grant, and vocalist Jane Campedelli.    Mark your 
calendar!   This will be our last Sunday at Marisa's until after the summer, so don't 
miss this very special performance.  Be sure to make your reservations early, 
like yesterday!   Remember, there is no cover or minimum at Marisa's, but 
because the food is fabulous, you're going to want to order dinner.   Marisa's is 
very easy to get to: take the Merritt Parkway toward Trumbull, get off at 
Exit 48, head north for about 3 miles, and it's on your right.   This is a good 
size restaurant, with plenty of seating and parking.   From Guilford, it took 
me only 35 minutes to get there.   Marisa's address is 6540 Main Street,

sells out again!
