Special Galvanized Jazz Band Alert, Very Special!

On Sunday, Jan 1, 1984, something magical happened at the Millpond Tavern in 
Northford, CT.   Guitarist Howard Alden, vibraphonist Dirck Spicer, and 
clarinetist Noel Kaletsky, along with the Galvanized Jazz Band, played their hearts 
out.   It was a spectacular evening of jazz.   The inspirations were obvious: 
Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, Charlie Christian, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson, 
and it all came together, like magic!   Fortunately the session was recorded by 
Art Hovey, but it sat on the shelf for 23 years.   Art was able to retrieve 
it, and preserve it forever on our latest CD entitled 'Airmail Special'.   This 
CD is so special to us that we decided to introduce it to you at a special CD 
Release Party, a first for us!   Here are the details:

Galvanized Jazz Band CD Release Party, 'AIRMAIL SPECIAL'

When: Thursday, Nov 29, 2007, 6:30-9PM.

Where: The Beachhead Restaurant, 3 Cosey Beach Ave, East Haven, CT. 
203-469-5450. 

This will be our last public performance for 2007, so please join us for this 
very special party.   We promise a very exciting evening of Jazz (and dancing 
too!) as we play the tunes from our Airmail Special CD, tunes like Stompin at 
the Savoy, Lady be Good, Sweet Georgia Brown, China Boy…, of course Airmail 
Special, and more.   And, we'll do it with a 7-piece band, featuring Noel 
Kaletsky on clarinet and Dirck Spicer on vibes!

To provide you with the best service, the Beachhead has agreed to limit the 
seating, to offer a full menu, and no cover charge, so please call for 
reservations now (203-469-5450), before the general public advertising begins.  It's 
very important for us to share this evening with our regular fans.   Remember, 
some of you were probably in the audience on Jan 1, 1984!   It's your applause 
we hear on the CD!   I almost forgot…..Yes, you'll be able to buy 'Airmail 
Special' for $15 at the Beachhead on Nov 29th (while supplies last), but not 
before!
